Facts about the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Fact 1:  God loves you!  John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God gave His only Son so we could know Him, be forgiven of sin, become a child of God, and spend forever with Him one day.

Fact 2: We’re all sinners and need a Savior!  Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Because we are sinners we are naturally separated from God and are in need of the salvation He freely offers to us.

Fact 3:  Sin has a price that must be paid!  Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Fact 4:  Jesus Christ died on the cross and paid the price for our sins! Romans 5:8-9, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Jesus took our place, suffered God’s wrath, paid the price for our sins, and rose again so we could know God personally and be forgiven.

Fact 5:  To know God and know for sure that you are going to heaven, turn to Jesus Christ away from your sin and place your faith and trust in Him. Believe on the Lord Jesus and receive Him as your Savior by faith and then follow Him!  Acts 16:31, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.

Fact 6:  After we place our faith in Jesus for salvation we are to follow Him.  We follow Jesus by praying, reading and obeying the Bible, and being led and empowered by the Holy Spirit of God.  Luke 9:23; John 14:15-18; 26; Romans 8; Ephesians 5:18

I invite you to believe who Jesus is according to the Scriptures and by faith place your trust in Him and receive salvation.  Jesus wants you to know Him and follow Him today!

Romans 10:8-13, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
